Another week has passed and Minister Joyce still refuses to release the cost benefit analysis on his forced and crazy relocation of the Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) to his own electorate.
Treasurer Scott Morrison threw Barnaby Joyce under the bus during Question Time this week, conceding the cost benefit analysis cost the taxpayer $272,000.
He then revealed the illogical relocation of the authority would be a matter for Cabinet, despite Barnaby’s insistence it would go ahead regardless because it was an election promise he made in his own electorate.
It’s clear senior Ministers are concerned by Barnaby Joyce’s blatant pork-barrelling exercise and he is about to be rolled in Cabinet.
That's good news for our farmers.
The Prime Minister must show leadership in demanding his Deputy release the tax-payer funded cost benefit analysis now.
