ANOTHER WEEK PASSES AND STILL NO APVMA RELOCATION CBA SEPTEMBER 23

Another week has passed and Minister Joyce still refuses to release the cost benefit analysis on his forced relocation of the Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) to his own electorate.

Last week we were told by the Treasurer that the matter was not a done deal and was for Cabinet consideration. However this week it has been revealed that commercial real estate agents JLL Corporate Solutions has been contracted to secure office space in Armidale.

The Minister is surely in contempt of the Cabinet process and defying his Prime Minister and Treasurer and his Cabinet colleagues in tendering for office space.

In the absence of any justification from the unreleased cost benefit analysis the agriculture sector can only agree this relocation is nothing more than pork-barrelling by Barnaby Joyce.
