He can run but he can’t hide.
Barnaby Joyce’s response to my challenge is to announce a debate in his own electorate this Friday night – this is a stunt and a way of avoiding the confrontation.
It’s been a bad week for Barnaby Joyce: red-faced in the Parliament because he was unprepared to oppose mining in the Liverpool Plains, more revelation over his Hansard doctoring and now, a populist and rushed policy announcement designed to lift the Government’s political stocks and distract from the Government’s dysfunction.
The Parliament is in session today and we are both here. We are back next week. Muscle up Barnaby and bring it on.
