Barnaby Joyce’s behaviour over relief funding is unbecoming for an Acting Prime Minister.
His politicisation of the suffering of so many is more than disappointing. Political point scoring is the last thing those in need want to hear.
Evidence provided by the Queensland Government demonstrates his claims that they have been wanting on their response to this disaster is simply wrong and designed to deflect blame away from his own inadequacies. This is vintage Joyce.
If Barnaby Joyce was as energetic in providing funding to those affected by cyclone Debbie as he is about spending up to $60 million on his Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) pork barrel, Queensland and Northern NSW residents would be better off.
When will the Acting Prime Minister demonstrate leadership? I won’t be holding my breath.
