BARNABY’S BUCK BACKS FIBRE BROADBAND

NSW Nationals MP and Barnaby Joyce’s understudy in Armidale, Adam Marshall has given a passionate endorsement of Labor’s fibre-to-the-premises National Broadband Network

Speaking in the Armidale Independent today, Mr Marshall said:

“We have a huge advantage in Armidale over all other regional centres in Australia as we are fully NBN connected.”

“We see Armidale as the hub, the incubator of a digital enterprise zone and from here we can grow into other centres right across our region.”

Unlike Federal National Party MPs, Mr Marshall recognises how important Labor’s NBN is for the bush and regional towns.

Barnaby Joyce should listen to his Nationals colleague and get behind the real NBN.

Meanwhile, Malcolm Turnbull’s latest review into the NBN concludes the best result is for broadband to not be rolled out to the bush at all.

This is the same anti-bush government which sold out the bush when it sold off Telstra.
