Shadow Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry and Rural Affairs Joel Fitzgibbon will visit Indonesia next week.
Mr Fitzgibbon will be accompanied by CPC CEO Troy Setter and will meet with Indonesian Government Officials and Industry leaders during his visit.
Mr Fitzgibbon will also tour feedlots, abattoirs, wet markets and supermarkets during his visit to see firsthand the entire supply chain of the live-export trade.
“Indonesia is a valuable trading partner for Australia and there are significant export opportunities for both countries in a number of commodities” said Mr Fitzgibbon.
Mr Fitzgibbon is looking forward to a successful visit to Indonesia.
