The recent Budget was a clear signal that the Coalition has come to take rural and regional Australia for granted. It was a Budget full of broken promises and hits on country Australia.
Labor will defend and protect those who live outside our capital cities.
I look forward to working with Julie Collins (Regional Development), Gary Gray (Resources & Northern Australia), Stephen Jones (Regional Health) and members of the new Country Caucus to promote and protect the economic and social wellbeing of our great regions.
