Barnaby Joyce has again been claiming credit for the success of Labor's programs.
In Opposition the Coalition criticised Labor’s Farm Finance initiative which made $420 million available for concessional loans to struggling farmers.
In Question Time yesterday Barnaby Joyce praised the scheme, identifying the competition it has introduced into the loans market as a bonus outcome.
Yet his own replica scheme specifically targeting drought affected farmers and announced with fanfare three months ago, has delivered not one cent to struggling farming families.
The PM's drought tour was a great political circuit breaker but three months on has done little for our farmers.
