PRIME MINISTER SHOULD STAND FIRM ON WATER ISSUE

Malcolm Turnbull’s sleight of hand on water policy was further exposed in House of Representatives Question Time today.

Barnaby Joyce was unable to authenticate the claim the Nationals now had control of water policy issues.

This is why Barnaby Joyce is trying to bully Malcolm Turnbull into giving him sole responsibility for water policy.  Labor again calls upon Malcolm Turnbull to stand firm and maintain the outcome of the stunt he pulled on the Nationals.

Having already removed forestry and fisheries from the portfolio title, the two sectors seem to have been further discarded with the removal of Senator Colbeck as the Parliamentary Secretary.

Labor today restored the status of Fisheries and Forestry in the Agriculture portfolio and we challenge Malcolm Turnbull to follow suit by also restoring Fisheries and Forestry to the Minister for Agriculture’s portfolio title.
