Its time Barnaby Joyce stopped blaming everyone and everything else for his own failings.
In an admission that rural and regional Australia is going backwards under the Coalition, he said:
• A new coalition agreement was needed - yet we have neither seen the new agreement nor any changes.
• There weren’t enough Nats in the Cabinet – yet no change appears likely.
• The decision by the LNP executive in QLD was a bad decision for regional Australia – but has no strategy to change it.
Furthermore, Barnaby Joyce’s agricultural white paper has been deemed a failure, farm productivity continues to decline and our share of global market is falling.
Barnaby Joyce needs to get back to his day job and take responsibility for his poor performance, rather than spending all his time playing petty politics and blaming others.
