Western Australian Farmers are understandably angry about the Abbott Government’s failure to deliver drought assistance in their state.
Western Australian Agriculture Minister has told farmers any federal government assistance could still be months away “due to the Federal Government approval process.”
The Abbott Government was too slow to put a package in place and is now proving too slow in the delivery of the package.
With the drought photo opportunities behind him, Prime Minister Abbott needs to act to ensue drought assistance flows quickly to those who need it.
