Wollombi Valley Landcare Group will receive $10,500 under the National Landcare Programme for their Wollombi Brook – Aleppo Street Extension Rehabilitation Project.
The 25th Anniversary Landcare Grants assist community groups to undertake projects to conserve and protect the local environment or support productive agricultural landscapes, contributing to outcomes in the national interest.
“I congratulate Wollombi Valley Landcare Group for having secured funding,” Mr Fitzgibbon said.
“The success of their application no doubt reflects the quality of their submission,” he said.
