Still no Hunter visit from PM

Another week has passed and the Hunter still hasn’t had a visit from a member of the Turnbull Government.

Almost three weeks have passed since the Prime Minister’s Liddell stunt and my subsequent invitation to him and his energy minister to visit the Hunter, our power station workers and coal miners.

We understand backbench Senator Matt Canavan had planned a visit but backed out.

Both the Prime Minister and the Deputy Prime Minister regularly pass by AGL’s Upper Hunter power stations.  Malcolm on his way to his vast cattle property and Barnaby to his electorate.

The invitation stands to visit Liddell, inspect the plant, and speak with workers on the ground who are looking for work and financial certainty.

The driver and cattle will wait Prime Minister.  Call in, it will only take a couple of hours.
