Volunteer Awards 2019

In the Hunter electorate we are fortunate to have thousands of individuals who selflessly contribute their time and effort to our community as volunteers. If you know someone who is deserving of recognition, please submit a nomination. Your nomination will serve as a way of saying thank you and paying tribute to the time and effort they give to others.

Nominating someone is a simple process and only takes a few minutes and Nominees must reside within the Federal electorate of Hunter. 

If you know someone special who has contributed to our community as a volunteer, please nominate them for a Hunter Volunteer Award before COB Friday, 6 September 2019.

Award recipients will be invited to attend the Hunter Volunteer Awards event on Tuesday, 24 September 2019.

    I would like to nominate Evelyn Lawler, who oversees Vinnies at Islington, in a volunteer capacity. Evelyn has volunteered at Vinnies in excess of ten years. She is generous and shows compassion for all in need who come through our doors. Evelyn has been known to pay for needs out of her own pocket.
    She supports the other volunteers in many ways.
    I think Evelyn deserves recognition for her volunteering ethos.
